Nestled in the heart of Sea Point is a grooming parlour with a heart of gold and a passion to make a difference.
We go the extra mile for all animals; from bouncing puppies to golden oldies, all pets are treated with care and understanding and everybody leaves with a song in their step; looking good and feeling great!
We believe in helping animals less fortunate than our own pets and are proud of the support we offer

My pets have always held a special place in my heart. I earned my City & Guilds qualification in London and since then have dedicated myself to The Dog Box in Sea Point. Since 2017 I am also an Ethology Academy accredited Dog Behaviourist.
Cindy Joseph
Head Groomer & Stylist
I have been grooming animals at The Dog Box since 1991, and have an intimate knowledge of all our regular pets’ behaviours and their parents styling likes and dislikes. I love styling all the breeds! Developing the skill to scissor poodles to perfection is something that I am very proud of.

Groomer & Washer
I have been a member of staff at The Dog Box since 1992 and am very familiar with all our pets and owners. I am responsible for bathing and drying all our cats to look like supermodels – check out the photos in our photo gallery.

We’re excited to welcome Thuba as the Manager and Lead Groomer for the new Dog Box Mobile Grooming Van. With over seven years of grooming experience, including extensive mobile grooming expertise, Thuba brings exceptional skill, care, and professionalism to every appointment. Her genuine love for dogs and commitment to their comfort and well-being make her the perfect fit to lead our new mobile service.

Before joining The Dog Box team 4 years ago I worked for The World Wide Fund for Nature for 10 years. I have a vast experience with pets and animals and communicate well with pet owners too. I have been driving for 23 years.

I have worked with animals throughout my adult life; as a Vet Assistant in the USA, where I learned to administer first aid for dogs, a dog walker in Sea Point and for the past 5 years, The Dog Box Chauf-fur driver. In my care your supermodels are super comfortable, super safe and super loved!
